In the month of May, 2013, Nextiva totally changed their fax system. When I called to figure out what happened, their support team had no information about the latest fax online system change, and obviously they were not trained either. The customer support said they would call me back when they sort out how to function the new system. But that never happened. May 6, is a Monday and that's when we get all of our faxed invoices from our independent contractors. July 15, 2013 again, the fax system is down. When someone calls our fax line, they either receive a busy signal or it say's the line is no more working. REALLY? I was on hold for 40 min trying to get their customer support and never got through.

I have been using Nextiva for more than 3years. Even the set-up process was painful and useless. It took several days to port my numbers and hours upon hours of phone time with them to solve the issues. There are constant issues with dropped calls. If you are lucky, you find a good Tier One technician, but that is occasional. Dropped calls are a surety with several days of trouble-shooting.

I am now considering another provider since Nextiva has failed to show any concern for the problems and has billed me for dozens of dropped toll free calls. It hard to believe that they are the best company! Avoid them like the plague!

Fairly it's such an easy but a secure phone system that I don't think anyone can easily hack them. I also have a couple of network faxes and nobody's hacked those either. Hackers use to go for the juicy targets, such as shared computers and pretty much let go the rest of the stuff, like peripherals, alone.

Their service is poor, every other day i would come in to work only to figure that my phones were not working and i would have to have a technician walk through trying to get them reconnected sometimes taking more than 45 minutes per call. I am establishing my business and i don’t have the time to waste on my cell trying to get my office phones up and fix. The supervisors don’t call you back when you wish to speak with one; billing won’t call you back when they say they will. I am so happy to be done with this service. Never issued me the credit on my bill that I deserved for the business I was losing, just awful. Good luck in your hunt, but do not go for this company.

Zigma5 is not my first VoIP provider for my company, I've had tried three others (we switch phone providers every week it seems). In terms of features, Zigma5 is at the top. The call forwarding works without any problem and the voicemail to email feature is quick! Not like our other VoIP providers, Zigma5’s email's get to us quickly. The call quality of Zigma5, I would say that most of the providers we've had tried, is the best, except for Nextiva (which was truly terrible). Zigma5 is the cheapest.
